Farmers Market: I love to go to Farmers Markets and find a variety of seasonal produce that will inspire my meals.


 Santa Barbara Certified Farmers Market



Cherimoya (fruit from South America-currently grown in California and Hawaii).
This fruit has a creamy consistency and is loaded with Vitamin C. 
Some great ways to use it are, on smoothies; they blend nicely with strawberries. you can also use them on a Cherimoya parfait or just cutting it in half and eat it them with a spoon.



Avocados. We love avocados. They grow so easily in mild weathers. My cousin from Argentina has a huge avocado tree growing on her backyard. It is so beautiful and it gives so many avocados they do not know what to do with them. My family likes to eat them sliced with lemon and sea salt. Also I like to add them in salads, ceviches and of course you can always make guacamole (salt, lemon, diced tomatoes-cilantro if you'd like)


Mixed Berries- This beautiful and colorful tray has so many vitamins. Mixed berries are great for smoothies with fat free vanilla yogurt and also they are an easy snack. Just looking at them makes me want to have a bowl of them!
